Happy birthday to me!

Two days ago, I celebrated my birthday with family and friends.

We went out with my friend to eat at a retro dinner and they sang happy birthday to me! I’ve always wanted that, so I was absolutely overjoyed

Also, King sent me some gifts for my birthday as well and I loved them so much! I spent all morning assembling the wooden flower set!

I was locked in lol

All in all it was a great day, being 27 feels so weird, but I’m hopeful this year will be a little bit kinder.

Unrelated to the birthday adventures, I’ve finally added enough details to mimiland and I’m kind of satisfied with what I have so far. I have yet to finish the review tabs, but I already have a general idea of what I want. Next would be the shrines! Last on the list are the collections.

Mimi trapped in pendulum hell

I expected as much despite the hope around me. When you’re awfully politically aware and too involved in the general public’s opinions, you have a general idea of the exact moment the pendulum swings back to the right full force. That doesn’t take away the aspect I, above all, was not expecting my own country to end up choosing the son of a nazi (and an openly fascist person) as president.

It’s dim. You kinda lose your focus for a second before you immediately try to regroup and think of what to do for the sake of your family, your community, and those you love. There have been three recorded harassment opportunities against openly queer people already. Now we have representatives of my own community, who voted for him, begging him to do something about it. It’s been three days!

Anger doesn’t begin to cover everything I feel towards people like that.

On a brighter note, we finished the Christmas decorations at my place. It all looks so nice and cute! We mixed warm colors with colorful lights and it honestly doesn’t look half bad. I really love our deer lol

Before the elections (literally the day before) I went to my last anime con of the year cosplaying as an npc uma.

I have a winter uniform and horse ears, so I just walk around like that! It was really fun, a little decompression doesn’t hurt nobody hehe
